Hannah is Cast as Madeline/Old Man in "Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe"

Hannah Petersen as 'Old Man' in "Tell Tale Heart"

At the start of her senior year at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, Hannah Petersen was cast in their production of "Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe", a collection of Poe stories told through a cast of 5 people. Hannah portrayed the character 'Madeline' (who is seen in The Raven and The Fall of the House of Usher) and, her favorite character, the 'Old Man' (seen in Tell Tale Heart). Although both roles were physically demanding, the 'Old Man' was the most challenging role Hannah ever assumed, contorting her face, body, and voice to fit the character requirements.
